Frequently asked questions

Do I go underwater?

No. You are taken to the pressure that you would experience at a given depth if you were to be underwater.

What pressure do I go to?

In our normal atmosphere we are subjected to approximately 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch),  air we breathe is made up of 21% oxygen and 78% nitrogen. During HBOT the pressure in the chamber can be increased up to twice the normal atmospheric pressure. Our usual hyperbaric therapy sessions will be no more than 30 pounds per square inch.

How long is a HBOT session?

From entering the chamber to leaving will be around 90 minutes total.

Can I make my HBOT therapy results even better?

Yes, Don’t smoke before a session or give up altogether! Get plenty of rest the night before and eat a proper diet.

Do you have parking?

Yes there is ample parking free for the use of visitors to the Chamber.

Will I need to wear a swimsuit?

No, you do not get wet at all. You will be provided with medical scrubs to wear.
